This robotic vacuum-mop is a great option for those who live in apartments as it has a smaller docking system and comes with its own trash bin. The app lets you set up different modes and monitor cleans. The mopping function is also impressive.
Its mapping, obstacle avoidance and mops are impressive. It picks up pet hair, spills, and dirt. It also self-empties, cleans itself, and refills its tank.
Roomba iRobot Combination
The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. It's not quite able to compete with our current Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which scrubs more and has an app that is easier to use on mobile devices however it makes an excellent alternative. It consistently picked up dirt from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't among the most advanced in the world, lacking structured light and other features like LiDAR, but it was able to avoid most collisions with furniture and other clutter.
The Combo has many of the same smarts that the j7 Plus does, including the onboard acoustic sensor for determining the type of floor and AI-powered Navigation, however it lacks the ability set suction power by hand. It's also less compact than its vac-only model, and it doesn't have a self-empty dock.
In my experience, the Combo is a fantastic choice for homes of all kinds, and its sleek design is easily one of the top in the industry. The clean, matte black plastic looks superior to the competition's glossy or metallic finishes, and iRobot's little details--like a leather tab to open the bin onboard and a shelf inside the dock to hold extra bags--are classier than many of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.

While Roborock is comparatively new to the robotic vacuum and mop market, it's already made a name for itself because of its innovative cleaning techniques. The brand's vacuums feature industry-leading suction, and its mopping systems utilize vibrating mops to keep floors of dirt. Plus, a wide range of mapping and scheduling options let you fine-tune the schedule of cleaning for your home's specific needs.
Roborock's obstacle avoidance feature enables the robot to spot objects that are smaller than its own height. This is especially useful for Roborock's most well-known models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the best in its class when it comes to navigation, thanks to vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been reported to run over pet faeces and slam furniture without noticing. The Qrevo Master, however, solves this problem by using a Reactive Artificial Intelligence system that makes use of two cameras to see objects within a room.

It's smaller than the other models, and its main brush is shorter however, it did a quick job in our test room. The rotating brush on the side for edges is a nice touch and, while it didn't remove dirt from our rugs and carpets like some of the competitors however, it did a good job overall.
